Learn how to be more productive in your quarantine days though
these interesting infographics!
Most of us are spending days at home due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Staying indoors and being at home can drastically reduce the productivity and makes a person lazy. Working from home is not easy for most since it easy to get distracted. Instead of meeting deadlines and completing tasks, most people spend their days lying on backs, looking for food in the refrigerator, or using cellphones.
Now that the pandemic is not going easily, this loss in productivity can make it even more difficult to get back to the normal routine. Therefore, here are certain tips and tricks to improve productivity while working from home curated by me and presented as infographics to make it easier for you to understand!
TIME MANAGEMENT
Managing time is a tricky task for most of us. Here are a few simple tips which can help you in managing your quarantine time.
PRIORITY MATRIX
Priority Matrix is a simple technique to divide up your tasks according to there importance or priority of completion, as the name suggests quite clearly. For somebody who is working (AS IN JOBS OR WORKING IN TEAMS) a typical Priority Matrix can have the following segments; TO DO NOW; DO LATER; DELEGATE and POSTPONE. For students, a priority matrix can be made by dividing the tasks you spend the most time on followed by the activity on which you spent lesser time and so on. An example of a priority matrix I made for myself is given below.
ANTI TO-DO LIST
Instead of a typical To-Do list, you can make an Anti To-Do List. An Anti-To-Do list just like a To-Do list helps you to keep track of your tasks. For those of you who are in a habit of making a To-Do list are probably aware of the satisfaction of striking off a task from your list. In an Anti To-Do list you jot down the tasks that you have already done! It is proven to improve productivity; read more about this concept here.
I hope that these little techniques help you in achieving your quarantine goals. Maintaining a work-life balance is difficult; however, working from home is even more difficult. You can start by making your own Priority Matrix or Anti To-Do lists. I also suggest using mobile applications and Google calendars to put reminders and other alerts to keep yourself updated on various task accomplishments.
More power to you and I hope you have a very productive lockdown!!
